Ayacon 2011 Photos!
I apologise that these have been so long coming, technology was not cooperating in the Manga Market blogosphere. Anyway, this was Manga Market’s first Ayacon, and we had a thoroughly lovely time! Some familiar faces were back, and some new ones came to visit us!
The weekend started off with a Hungary! My favourite Hetalia character, so I was really rather pleased!
These lovely lolitas stopped to chat for a long while. The lady in the pink was getting married the week after Aya, so I hope she had a wonderful day!

There were quite a few Sailors about! It was a shame I decided to shelve my Sailor Jupiter for this con… never mind!
Poor old Tai got caught by some ponies on the way to market.
One of our Dolly Dare customers shows off his lovely spoils on Sunday! He needed it as well, the weather was gorgeous and he’d only brought a velvet dress with him!
Powerpuff Girls Z! There was a Blossom wandering around as well, but I never managed to catch the three of them together, which I was hugely disappointed about.
Tutu and Kraehe get their ballet on for me.
This photo excited me for many many reasons. Reason the first: the amazing Mother Gothel cosplay, because she’s badass. Reason the second: the amazing Last Unicorn cosplay. I have never ever seen anyone cosplay a character from the Last Unicorn, and it’s one of my favourite childhood films. Reason the third: because this picture makes it looks like Mother Gothel has ditched Rapunzel for a more magical blonde.
It’s always good to see a Jenny and a Joy about the place!
I also on Sunday tottered my way along to the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic meet, and got LOTS of photographs. Unfortunately technology failed again and most of them were only recorded at low resolution, so no larger size than this is available. I apologise to all the ponies who put up with my pose requests only for these little pictures to be the result, but I hope that you like them anyway!
