Phew, still haven’t caught up with sleep from the weekend, but just about getting to the point where I don’t fall asleep if I stand still for two minutes!
Kitacon III was a great weekend – the venue was gorgeous, the other dealers were friendly and you guys were, as always, fantastic!
Dem’s mah books!
Some of our beautiful stock!
The dealer’s room was very posh, and there was loads of space to move around in as well. We were right by DestinyBlue, which was wonderful.
Build a Mecha gets off to a promising start…
Lobeliahhhhh! WolfOfMibu’s trio of Ouran Rivals!
I also joined in with the photo scavenger hunt – we have bizarre smackdown and chocobo here!
They just keep multiplying!
Heather, Hope and Kirstie, with some cracking Marauder’s Era cosplay! These guys were very understanding with my video requests too, so I hope they’ll like the finished result!
Photo scavenger hunt: Goggles and Canon Couple!
Two villains? Most I got all weekend on my scavenger hunt villain group.
WE WERE ALL WORKING VERY HARD.
Scavenger hunt: a convincing crossplayer!
This little guy was Clover – the mascot for Sugarglass, which was a couple of stalls down from us. He was so well behaved – and far more photogenic than me!
Modelling the sexy hats.
I followed the trail of Pokemon cosplayers to get some more scavenger hunt shots! How many pokemon? Um… 9 counting the plushies!
pltshp was Gary Oak and KiraraYumi was Silver.
justhewaydrmademe’s Reborn group!
Wait a minnit, I recognise those two!
Whilst tromping around I found a Soul Eater group, including hoppinmadbek as Maka!
These Howl’s Moving Castle cosplayers were so well put together, they looked fantastic!
A very glamorous food court!
I threw hot chocolate down myself. Fortunately DestinyBlue is a darling and was able to lend me a t-shirt, so I didn’t have to walk around with a massive brown stain on my front.
Viewtiful D’s Venom getting cosy with Spiderman.
Feetsies!! FuriePhoenix’s Ariel cosplay was fabby!
Clover and his owner Lotus. Tuckered out after a long weekend!
As we left the venue, there was this gorgeous rainbow – a huge, full arc which stretched right across the sky, with a hint of a double one above it. It was a great end to a wonderful weekend!
It was wonderful to meet everyone, if you’re in any of the pictures here, do let us know so we can give you credit for your fabby costumes! Most of them are on the blog, but you can find them all in our Kitacon Flickr set.
