Manchester Steps Up to the Mark for its First MCM Expo.
And so life returns to its regular schedule after a hectic MCM Expo in Manchester this weeken. The show was the first of its king in Manchester, and organizers clearly underestimated the interest, as shortly after opening queues trailed out of the venue and for nearly 200m around the corner! Thankfully MCM had extra security enforcers to prevent anarchy ensuing:
The day was under way, and we were pleasantly surprised at the support, with far more customers and cosplayers than we had been expecting!
As always, we saw plenty of Links!
And these incredible home made Ghostbusters! (Who seemed to be spending more time having their pictures taken than browsing!)
Hannah joined in, dressed as Neji form Naruto.
We also saw an incredible cosplay of Loki from Thor:
And a brilliant human Tardis!
Who said fruit was boring?
As the day went on, we began to try more interesting ways of scanning our barcodes:
Until finally the show began to slow down, giving us just enough time to wuss out of playing DDR…Well…We didn’t want to show you all up after all.
And much to Tom’s relief, we finally got a break…
Thank you to everyone who came to Manchester MCM Expo, it truly was a great day! Thanks also to all those that posed for our (sometimes blurry) photos, and anyone who bought from us throughout the day! Only a year until the 2nd Manchester Expo!
